Grandma Margie came for a visit, and we had to take advantage of her being here to throw Isaac a first, first birthday party, just a tad early. OK it was all her idea. She had come prepared with an "I am 1" onesie complete with tearaway cape and matching hat (modeled below by Adam - no that is not a yarmulke). He got a chocolate cupcake, of which you can see the progression below, or here:

We had tried the three previous nights to have the party, but Isaac kept falling asleep right after dinner. We took advantage of the extra time to assemble his big present, a motorcycle that plays music, has a horn and a starter, and he can either ride or push it from behind.

He can really take off on his motorcycle now! He doesn't like for anyone else to touch it, and will physically pull your hands off it if you try to touch it.
