Grandma Kathy's come for a visit, and she got him a new high chair! He looks like quite a big boy sitting up in it eating his baby food. Today was not the first time we gave him potato, but he apparently didn't remember it because he did not like it at all! Who doesn't like potato? It was warmed up with some milk...

We've been enjoying this December and boy has it flown by! Ike turned 6 months old and is at a really fun age - he can sit up for a few seconds before toppling over, he grabs everything and puts it in his mouth, he loves to talk with everyone, he smiles and laughs and cackles, he is starting to roll over, he can support weight on his legs...

In early December we started Isaac on solid foods. His pediatrician recommended starting him on fruits and vegetables, with rice cereal three nights a week. My dad and I try to go every year to a Notre Dame away game, and this was the third year that we went to Los Angeles for the Notre Dame-USC game over Thanksgiving weekend.
