Big Announcement

Adam and I have a big announcement to make - we are expecting our second baby!  The baby is doing great, and is due somewhere around Christmas of this year.  I'm doing fine, other than the regular nausea in the first trimester, now everything is fine, I'm just more tired and hungry than normal.

My sister Theresa made this amazing poster for us!  We want to do movie-ticket themed birth announcements, like my parents did for all of us, so we decided to pre-empt it with a movie poster pregnancy announcement.  What do you think?

The doctor said that this baby is going to be a big one!  When he charted the femur size, which I guess is an indicator of overall size, it was off the charts.  Oh boy!

I had a gender reveal party at work.  I made a cake and added food coloring to make it either pink for a girl, or blue for a boy, then I frosted it white so you couldn't see the color from the outside.  All my coworkers had to guess what they thought it was, then I cut into the cake to reveal the color of the cake and the baby's gender!  See their cute reactions here.

Honestly though, Isaac is too young to understand what's going on.  I keep asking him where is the baby and he points at himself!  He will find out pretty soon!
