Cozumel

We decided to take a family vacation before I go back to work, so last week on Tuesday we took the car ferry over to Cozumel, returning on Sunday.  It was like returning home, because for one the service at the Melia Cozumel is amazing and we are always treated like kings, and also it's our first time back since our wedding, and now we have Isaac.

We left Cancun Tuesday at 11:00am, arriving at the port of Calica at noon for the 1:30 car ferry, which takes an hour and a half.  We arrived in the hotel around 3:15.  Adam went diving on Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday while Ike and I hung out at the beach.  I got a massage, a manicure and pedicure while Adam and Isaac hit up the pool bar.  On Thursday we went to a beach club called The Money Bar, where Adam and I took turns snorkeling and Ike got a ton of attention.  We ate, drank, and relaxed a lot.  There are a lot more hours to enjoy the hotel since Ike gets us up at 6:00am!  I always wondered before who was hitting up the breakfast buffet at 7:00am on vacation.  Now we are the ones opening the place up. 

Lucy, Eric, and Emma came over for the weekend to relax and so Eric and Adam could go diving on Sunday while Lucy, Emma, Isaac and I went for a stroll on the boardwalk with a friend of Lucy's from Cozumel.  We headed back on the 8:00pm car ferry, arrived home about 11:30 and crashed.  In short a great time was had by all!
