First Days

After Andrew was born, we spent three days in the hospital, with daily visits from Grandma, Grandpa, and Isaac.  It was a zoo when everyone was in the room!  Uncle Joe came by as well, and even held Andrew!  My friend and co-worker Egidia visited us with her husband.

It's been three weeks already since Andrew was born!  It's flown by.  I have to say, it's been easier the second time around.  We're more confident as parents, and I've been feeling better physically than I did with Isaac.  It's also made a big difference having my mom here to take care of everything around the house and Isaac, while Adam and I focus on Andrew.  My mom has also been organizing up a storm, since we're still unpacking the last boxes from the move, hanging up pictures, and putting up those finishing touches.

Isaac has taken on the role of big brother, and enjoys pointing out "baby brudder" when he comes into the room, and loves giving Andrew kisses and covering him up with a blanket (also taking the blanket away).  He wants to hold him, and frequently puts toys into his crib.  He also really enjoys the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse microphone that Andrew gave him when we came home from the hospital.
