First Haircut

We noticed Isaac's hair was getting a little long when he woke up with the bedhead pictured above.  Although it was so cute and also getting a little curl in the back, it was also pretty disheveled so we decided to get it cut (OK, I decided, Adam wanted to keep it long).  To tell the truth I was pretty sad when it actually came time to cut it.

On Saturday we took him down to a kiddie barber near our old house.  They had a plastic car on a pole with a seatbelt instead of a chair, and tons of toys to keep him distracted.  Maggie took care of him, and did a pretty good job considering that he wouldn't sit still.  He didn't yell or scream though.  She sprayed his hair wet and then trimmed it up all over with the scissors, no clippers.

Afterward she put some gel in his hair and he looked pretty sharp!  I'm not sure why we didn't get an "after" picture.  I took some pictures the next day but he wouldn't sit still.  He played for a few minutes in the big plastic house inside the barber shop and then we were on our merry way (with a little blond lock in tow for his baby book).
