Grandpa Mike (Adam's dad) came to visit us in Cancun. It was Mike's first trip to our house in Mexico (although he did come to our wedding in Cozumel in 2010, he didn't get a chance to stay at our house). He arrived on Sunday afternoon just in time for the Super Bowl, which we watched at home with Lucy, Emma, and Lucy's cousin Andrea. Eric stopped by later.
Monday was a holiday here in Mexico so I had the day off work. We went down to Playa del Carmen and had lunch at Piola, an Italian restaurant staffed exclusively by Argentineans. Mike kept asking about everything, "Is that spicy?" After lunch we walked down 5th Avenue, which is a pedestrian-only street full of shops, bars, and restaurants. Isaac was pooped out at this point, and took a nap in the stroller.
The rest of the week, Adam and Grandpa Mike hung out while I worked. They went to the driving range, Costco, and to the flea market. Mike seemed to really enjoy hanging out with Ike and feeding him his bottle, and must have taken dozens of photos and video.
