Well today was a busy day for Isaac. In addition to his first day with his new nanny and a pediatrician appointment, he also got his Mexican passport! Now he has both the US and Mexican passports, and the ability to travel between the two countries without a visa. After making an appointment and driving up and down the same block for 30 minutes trying to find the (completely unmarked) office, the process was surprisingly straightforward and they gave us the passport the same day. I tried to get a good shot of him looking sly with both passports, but as you can see it was quite the task. He kept wanting to fall over either left, right, or straight ahead, and he wasn't very cooperative about holding onto the passports either. Below are the outtakes.
Quick update from the pediatrician: he's doing great, super healthy and she was impressed with his ability to sleep through the night. His new stats are 12 lbs 12 ounces (5.8 kilos) and 23 inches (60 cm) long.
Stay tuned for more on his nanny (and Mom's going back to work!) and also on our trip to Cozumel last week.
