Miami Trip and World Cup Fever

Just now getting to some of these photos from last month.  In June I went to Miami for a week on business, and Adam and Isaac joined me over the weekend.  We shopped, ate, and visited my friend Egidia and her new baby Henry.  Such a cutie!  He was only two months old at the time.  It was the first time she'd met Isaac, and hopefully she will still invite us back.  Even with Curious George playing, a little doggie, a new house and a big yard proved too much temptation for Ike.

For the last month we have been living "El Mundial" here in Mexico, made even bigger by the fact that Mexico qualified.  Like the last six World Cups however, el Tri made it to the second round and no further.  Even Isaac cheering them on didn't help.  (He had to take some calls during the game, so sue him.)  Same story for Team USA.  Oh well.  At least Argentina didn't walk away with the whole thing - most people here feel that if they have the Pope AND the World Cup, Argentina would be completely insufferable for the next four years.  Now we Americans can put away our stuff and forget about soccer again until 2018.
