On Friday, July 13 we made an outing to the beach (Isaac's first time at the beach), then 5th Avenue in Playa del Carmen. Adam carrying Isaac down the street got a lot of attention! Afterwards we had dinner at Piola, where the music was so loud that Adam and I had to hunch over to hear Isaac burping after feeding him.
Isaac also got some quality time at our neighborhood pool, and a chance to try on his new swimming duds, complete with desert-style hat. All that's missing are some sunglasses.
My mom arrived on Sunday, July 15, and will be here for ten days. Below is a photo of her meeting Isaac for the first time.
Today we had our newborn photo shoot at home. Dad and baby donned their coordinating Oklahoma gear in a test run for football season. The complete set of photos is due on Wednesday.
Grandma Margie and I also discovered the fun of dressing Isaac and ourselves in matching outfits.
